Thinkin' Science is a science tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive and learning disabilities. Five environments introduce students to the scientific methods and concepts needed to understand basic Earth, life, and physical sciences. Students learn to think like scientists as they solve problems using hypothesis, experimentation, observation, and deduction. The program covers major topics in Kindergarten to second grade science curriculums with hundreds of problems. A variety of activities teach logical and sequential thinking, deductive reasoning, problem-solving strategies, observation and prediction, memory strategies, manipulation of variables, animal tracks and habitats, Earth's rotation, force and motion experiments involving ramps, catapults, and pendulums. This product contains Universal Access features including TouchWindow and Single Switch compatibility to address a variety of learning styles and abilities.
