The Tjacket Basic is a non-weighted compression vest designed to help children and adults with anxiety, restlessness, autism, sensory processing disorder (SPD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This deep touch pressure garment is intended to provide the wearer with deep air pressure and simulate the feeling of a hug, helping calm, comfort and soothe the wearer during times of heightened stress and anxiety. It can also help the wearer improve his or her overall attention and focus.
The Tjacket Basic is controlled by the Tjacket app via the wearer’s smartphone/tablet. Through this app, the wearer can adjust the intensity, duration and frequency of the applied pressure. At the press of a button, the chosen program will be activated and the Tjacket’s automatic air-pump system will start delivering calming pressure patterns that meet the wearer's needs and moods. This is to prevent the wearer's body from becoming habituated to the pressure, thereby allowing him or her to achieve longer periods of attentiveness and improved ways of coping with stress and anxiety. The Tjacket’s built-in sensors can measure, store and upload the wearer’s activity levels and pressure usage onto the cloud system.
The Tjacket Basic comes with a charging cable, the Tjacket T&C booklet, stoppers (to be used when washing the Tjacket), and the user guide.
