General Employability Skills Titles is a prevocational job skills training system designed for use by high school students and adults with cognitive or other disabilities. The unit, which is part of the Life Skills Curriculum, has 21 duplicatable books, 21 duplicatable CD-ROMs and 21 online lessons that equip students with the knowledge and skills to set goals for themselves and make better personal choices. Students can use this curriculum independently or in groups. Titles include Earning Money Now; Quitting a Job; Fired, Laid Off, Resigned; Second Job; First Weeks of Work; Self-Concept and Work; How to Get and Hold a Job; Silent Evaluation; I've Been Fired; Successful Work Attitudes; Job Information; Suppose I Do Something Wrong; Job Safety; The Interview; Losing a Job; Unemployment; Loyalty - To Whom?; You Can Get the Job; Personal Pay Records; You Have a Job! Now What?; Productivity, Advancement & Raises. In addition to the duplicatable books, duplicatable CD-ROMs, and online lessons, the curriculum includes teacher’s guides, lessons plans, record keeping logs, pre/post-assessments, alignments to CASAS and Job Corps Career Success Standards, certificates of achievement, and other support materials. All of the materials are duplicatable after purchase. In addition all print materials are available in digital format (Word and PDF) at no additional cost, after purchase. This allows the print to be enlarged and the materials to be put into alternate formats. All of the interactive CD-ROMS and online lessons have audio and print, along with companion books.
