Simple device made with a small wood block 2 3/4 inches square and 1 1/ 4 inches high; a dowel 3 inches long and 1/2 inch in diameter; a nail with a flat head; a stationary-type clothespin; and a 4 or 5 ounce lead fishing sinker to provide weight. Provides instructions and photographs. The clothespin, which swivels on top of the dowel, holds the spoon or fork which is placed in it by the child using his or her mouth.
