iSpectrum Color Blind Assistant is a color identification program designed for use by individuals with low vision. This application (or app) allows a person who is colorblind to use their Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad as a visual aid. The user takes a picture with the device’s camera or chooses an existing picture from the device’s photo albums, touches the image and the app will speak the color of that area of the the image. The app can identify over 500 individually verified colors and the zoom and crop functions of the app let the user focus on the area of interest. The user can also shake the device to reveal the RGB (Red/Green/Blue) components of any color. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.0 or later.
