The Pop-A-Shot Sit Down/Wheelchair or Handicapped Standup Electronic Basketball Game is a basketball game designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, mobility, lower extremity, or cognitive disabilities or spinal cord injury. Intended to improve hand-eye coordination, increase arm strength and stamina, and improve grip, this game consists of a basketball goal mounted at the end of a net enclosure with a net "dome" just above the basket. The frame is designed with leg room under for seated or wheelchair play. The game starts on the first made goal and players have 30 seconds to score as many baskets as possible; three-point play occurs in the final 15 seconds. Music plays when the game is in progress, and there is a 10-second countdown at the end. This unit can be used for individual, team, or tournament and league play. The frame is constructed of 1.5-inch PVC pipe with nylon mesh on the sides of the frame and and extending at an upward angle from the top of the backboard. It has a fabric floor that allows missed and made balls to roll back to the player. The backboard is made of vinyl covered particle board and the rim is 0.375-inch steel. There are two LED displays showing the score and the time remaining incorporated into the backboard. Three mini rubber basketballs are included. POWER: Uses a standard household outlet. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 96 x 30 inches; height is 98 inches (with legs and dome), 87 inches (with legs and without dome), or 81 inches (with no legs or dome).
