The Cordless Switch Interface, model H-53-USB, is a computer switch interface and mouse emulator designed for use by individuals with fine motor, neurological, or upper extremity disabilities. This unit provides a place to plug switches into a computer without having to connect a cable to the computer. This unit can also be used as a presentation mouse. It has two switch inputs. When switches are plugged into the jacks, they function as standard mouse-clicks (left or right in Windows; left or control-click for Macintosh), and with installation of the accompanying SwitchHopper for Windows (SAM-X for Mac OS X) software, each button can be configured to function as any mouse-button event or keystroke. This unit does not interfere with the operation of other pointing devices, such as a mouse.
