The PaceSaver Scout BOSS 6 and 6.75 are heavy-duty powered wheelchairs designed for indoor and outdoor use by large adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxWxH): 48 x 28. x 42 to 44 inches. The turning radius is 27 inches, and the ground clearance is 3 inches. These chairs disassemble for transport. Both chairs feature a heavy-duty steel frame with independent coil-spring suspension and includes height-adjustable, rigid front anti-tippers; Stanza Power Anti-Tips are optional. The seat frame is black and the base is available in ocean blue, candy apple red, or midnight black. CONTROLS: Integrated programmable Shark 150-amp (model 6) or 180-amp (model 6.75) joystick controller. A swing-away controller mount is optional. MWD: Mid-wheel drive. SEAT (WxD): The Deluxe Com-For-Back seat, 24 x 21 inches, is standard. Seat widths of 26 to 34 inches and custom depths are available. The seat to floor height is 18.3 to 21.3 inches, with taller heights available. The seat on frame position adjustment is 3 inches front-to-back. The seat back is adjustable and folds down for transport. The back angle is 20 degrees with an adjustment of 16 degrees posterior and 4 degrees anterior. UPHOLSTERY: Velvet upholstery is available in black or gray; vinyl upholstery is available in charcoal or gray. ARMRESTS: Removable padded armrests are height-, depth-, and angle-adjustable. BRAKES: Regenerative, dynamic and disc parking brakes are standard. CASTERS: 9 x 2 inch rear caster wheels with flat-free tires; pneumatic tires are optional at no charge. Each caster rotates on an articulating arm. WHEELS: 14 x 3 inch middle drive wheels with pneumatic tires; flat free tires are optional. Also standard are 5-inch front anti-tip wheels with solid tires. FOOTRESTS: An height- and angle-adjustable special needs wide one-piece footplate is standard. The height adjustment is 3 to 5 inches. Elevating leg rests and swing-away detachable footrests are optional. OPTIONS: Front bag, saddle bag, folding basket, cane holder, cup holder, flag, and oxygen tank holder. POWER: Uses two Group 24 sealed batteries (not included). A carry-on 24 Volt, 8 amp constant current charger is standard. SPEEDS: 4.5 miles per hour for a range of 18 miles (model 6.75) or 20 miles (model 6) per charge. Maximum incline is 7 to 9 degrees. CAPACITY: 600 pounds (model 6) or 675 pounds (model 6.75). WEIGHT: 349 pounds with batteries and flat-free tires. The heaviest single component is 147 pounds.
