The Multisensory Motivational Center - MMC, model 555 and 555-8, is a sensory busy box and eye/hand coordination activity for individuals with physical, sensory or cogitive disabilities. This cause and effect motivational center was designed to help develop fine and gross motor planning in a therapeutic and educational environment. The center includes three different toys that are activated by interchangeable switch pads. The child has a choice of using round plates, a uniquely textured circle, square, and triangle, or one large single switch panel overlay. Light pressure on the circle, square or triangle will activate the toy above that particular shape. The three switch pads can be replaced with the large white panel which will simultaneously activate the toy(s) plugged into the unit. Although three toys come with the center, any adapted toy may be plugged into the unit through Toys for Special Children cables (3 cords included). SENSORY INTEGRATION: The switch pads give visual and tactile cues for the child, while the toys atop the center provide auditory, visual, and somatosensory stimulation. PACKAGE COMPONENTS: 3 battery operated toys, 7 switch pads, and 3 cords. DIMENSIONS: The base of the MMC is 11 x 22 inches.
