TypeInBraille is a braille input program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This application (or app) enables a person to type words into an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad in braille rather than using the standard touchscreen keyboard. TypeInBraille allows the user to indicate a braille character through specific finger taps that designate which of the two dots in each of the character’s three rows are raised (e.g. left, right, both or none). The program also allows the user to input capital letters and numbers. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone (3GS, 4 or 4S), iPod Touch (third or fourth generation), or iPad. SYTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 5.0 or later.
